Walden Cove

If you are looking for a larger than average lot, check out Walden Cove by Taylor Morrison. Four floorplans are available with multiple elevations. The community is very close to A rated Wilson Elementary, and children could walk or ride bikes to school.

Just Listed!

Today I entered a new listing in MLS, and expect lots of activity right away. This Miramar floorplan was a former builder model and is full of upgrades.  I sold the townhome adjacent to this one about 4 months ago for my now friend Lisa, and am pretty sure she referred me to this couple. Referrals are always very much appreciated.  Thanks Lisa!

Preserve at Lake Sylvan

Park Square Homes treated Tolaris agents to a delicious breakfast this morning and a tour of Preserve at Lake Sylvan. Their model was decorated perfectly, and the bonus room was so kid friendly.  I imagined children being home schooled there! The development has 35 lots available, will be gated, and boasts a paved walking trail around the community.

Thornbrooke at Town Center

This afternoon Taylor Morrison hosted a happy hour for Realtors at Thornbrooke, their newest development in Sanford. We were treated to a live meriachi musician, margaritas, and a spread of Mexican dishes.  My favorite was the chicken tortilla soup.

At 7:00 tonight I had another listing appointment in Terracina, and I will be taking pictures tomorrow.  Stay tuned!

Coming Soon

Today I had a listing appointment in Terracina at Lake Forest.  It is a former model, the Venice, and is the largest floor plan in Terracina.  I am arranging a person to stage a few of the rooms so the house will show perfectly.  Pictures will be a delight to take in this upgraded home.

Victoria Park

This morning I toured Victoria Park in Deland, FL.  I have an upcoming townhouse listing there and wanted to get a feel for all Deland has to offer. Victoria Park was established in 2000 and has a mix of single family homes and townhouses.  Many are maintenance free, so the lawns are beautifully manicured and consistent from home to home.

I later had lunch in downtown Deland at a Greek restaurant called Santirini. Luckily we arrived at 11 am, because the restaurant was full by the time we left. It was too chilly to window shop, but Deland boasts many antique shops and other unique stores.

This week I was able to make a second referral to Missouri.  This one was for a home in Windsor, Missouri.  Windsor is a small, small town in rural Missouri and I contacted a big producing agent in nearby Clinton, Missouri.  We are just waiting for the snow to melt for some photos to be taken and the listing can go into MLS.

Agent Open House Tour – Lake Forest

After our sales meeting this morning, several Tolaris agents went on an agent caravan.  Five Lake Forest homes were scheduled for open houses and four of the homes were different variations of the same floor plan.  It was terrific to see how the options were selected by different homeowners, and how a house could look completely different depending on the furnishings and decor.

List prices ranged from $419,000 to $544,000.  Home sizes ranged from 2633 to 3379 square feet.

Just Sold!

Today my listing in Terracina at Lake Forest closed.  My sellers made their way safely back to Boston before the snow storm set in, and the buyer is happy to finally have a townhouse in Terracina.

Just Sold!

Today was full of real estate activity.  I met with a handy man in the morning to repair an attic access door in my Terracina listing – that’s two attic door repairs in one week!  He quickly cut a replacement piece of drywall, applied base paint, knock down texture, a final coat – and viola!

Next, I met my Factors Walk buyers for their close.  As a vacation home, they will enjoy long visits with their Florida family members.  Savannah Park is an active community with a great mix of year round residents and snow birds.  The community boasts one of the nicest pools around.

Finally, I met with my Terracina sellers to pre-sign for their close next week.  This was their vacation home, and their primary residence is in Boston. A huge snow storm is headed towards the northeast US, and they flew down for a few days to donate their furniture to Habitat for Humanity and pack up their personal belongings. We hope they can beat the storm back to Boston!
